Ancestor statuette Yaka, Democratic Republic of the Congo Wood, pigments, raffia H: 48 cm. Standing anthropomorphic fetish, hands brought to hip level. The face features the "trumpet nose" characteristic of Yaka aesthetics. It wears a fiber necklace and loincloth embellished with rings. Collected in situ by the owner in the Mb Woolo sanctuary.
