Painter and sculptor, José Manuel Bouzas Novoa was self-taught. All his professional activity is related to art, where he has been and is a teacher, researcher, lecturer, essayist and curator. He has worked from State Museums to Cultural Centers of reference such as: Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid and Museo Galego de Arte Contemporáneo (CGAC). He has held exhibitions in Spain and several European countries. His works can be seen in public and private collections in Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom, Greece and the United States.
