LOUIS ALBERT CARVIN (Paris, 1875-1951). "Mouse eating chocolate". Patinated bronze. Signed on the back. Measurements: 4 x 10 x 3,5 cm. Louis Albert Carvin specialized in the modeling of human and animal figures (both mice like the one we now bid as well as deer, deer, lions, panthers, birds, cats, dogs or horses). He was a member of the Society of French Artists and exhibited at the Society's fairs from the end of the nineteenth century until 1933. He received an Honorable Mention in 1894.
