Icon Crucifixion of Christ Russia, 2nd half 19th cent, inscribed in Church Slavonic, tempera on a simple hardwood panel blocked with a ponki on the reverse, Kovcheg, central depiction of Christ on the cross, above a band of clouds above him an aureole with the blessing God the Father, at his feet the bones of Adam, Christ is flanked on the right by the three Marys and on the left by his favourite disciple John and the centurion Longinus with a lance, with further marginal saints, minor losses of substance, dimensions 34.5 x 31.5 cm.

Icon of the Mother of God "Unexpected Joy" Russia, 19th cent, inscribed in Church Slavonic, tempera over a chalk ground on a hardwood panel, painted kovcheg, scene with a repentant sinner in front of an icon of the Virgin Mary, which, according to tradition, suddenly moved and wounds and blood appeared on the child's arms and legs, the depiction is based on the miracle of an icon of the Mother of God, reported by St Metropolitan Dimitri Rostovskij in his book "Das benetzte Flies", the beginning of the text of which is reproduced in a white field below the Mother of God, loss of substance, somewhat in need of restoration, dimensions 31 x 26.5 cm.
