GAIETÀ CORNET PALAU (Barcelona, 1878 - 1945). "Urban scene", "The professor", "The salesman". Three humorous drawings. Ink and watercolor on paper. Signed. The paper has some stains and some damage. Measurements: 14.5 x 20.5 cm (the largest); 71 x 31 cm (frame). Draughtsman, caricaturist and engineer, he was formed artistically in the Borrell Academy. Belonging to the pre-novecentista group "El rovell de l'ou", he collaborated with the most important publications in Barcelona at the time. He always favored political caricature, and was also one of the most appreciated children's cartoonists. He collaborated with the weekly magazine "Patufet".
