Luis Bagaría is considered one of the main Spanish caricaturists of the first half of the 20th century. He renewed the genre by his synthetic and expressive strokes and published in the Catalan press (until 1912 with La Vanguardia) and Madrid (until 1936 with La Tribuna, España and El Sol).
