Louis-Édouard Garrido was a French painter, son of the Spanish artist León Eduardo Garrido. Settled in Normandy, Louis-Édouard Garrido painted magnificent landscapes in the Saint-Vaast area, as well as portraits and still lifes. The artist was director of the School of Fine Arts in Caen (Normandy), as well as curator of the Museum of Fine Arts in Caen. Louis-Édouard Garrido was also president of the association of artists of Basse-Normandie.
