In-8, fawn half-calf with corners, smooth spine decorated in gold and cold, covers preserved without spine, untrimmed, gilt head (19th c. binding). First edition, with a frontispiece engraved by Lacoste after Boulanger. From the romantic library of F.-M. Caye, with his bookplate. Angular restorations to false-title and frontispiece, restored tear to title; uneven, faded margins with minor foxing. Binding rubbed, spine partly oiled.
