RB ROSSANA chair. Italy, 1970s. Beech wood and rattan. Measurements: 75 x 46 x 52 cm. The chair in tender shows the intention of Rb Rossana to respond to the needs of the market, focusing its work on creativity and design. This piece of furniture combines formal economy and elegance in its design. Straight, pure and robust lines combine with a curved backrest in which the form is allied with the handcrafted warmth of beech. Rb Rossana is a reference firm in the field of design, technology and quality specialized in kitchen furniture. Its beginnings date back to 1953, when Fulvio Bembrilla, founder and historical manager of the company, started an artisan kitchen furniture workshop in the Italian city of Bergamo. In fact, in 1972 RB Rossana was the first kitchen furniture manufacturer with products exhibited at the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) in New York. The brand has always maintained collaboration with some of the best international designers such as Giancarlo Llipandri, Michele de Lucchi, Rodolfo Dordoni and many more.

Vase in the shape of an owl. Corrèze, France, 1950s. Polychrome ceramic. Very good condition. Measurements: 62 x 48 x 45 cm. Corrèze is one of the most important ceramic centers of the French territory. In this occasion the vase that we present adopts the synthesized form of an owl with big eyes.

Nordic design armchair and footstool, 70s. Cherry wood and taupe leather. Measurements: 85 x 78 x 90 cm (armchair); 40 x 75 x 70 cm (footrest). Set consisting of a comfortable armchair with matching footrest, both pieces of furniture with cherry wood structure in its natural colour and taupe leather upholstery, with a padding which, as well as providing comfort, gives a classic touch to the design, as a reference to the typical 19th century quilted capitonné upholstery. The structural lines are clearly visible, and take on special relevance through the warmth of the wood, uprights and crosspieces with proportionate, slightly curved lines, evoking an organic form that refers to the tradition of Nordic cabinetmaking. On top of this structure, the fully upholstered bodies, resting softly on the wood, like old furs.

ILLUM WIKKELSO (Denmark, 1919 - 1999) for RYESBERG FURNITURE. 3-seater sofa. Upholstery in brown patinated leather. Manufactured by Ryesberg Furniture. Shows signs of use and age. Measurements: 74 x 240 x 82 cm. Seat height 43 cm. Spacious three-seater armchair designed by Illum Wikkelsø and manufactured by Ryesberg Furniture, characterized by a structure reduced to its essence entirely upholstered in brown patinated leather. It stands on tubular legs with a circular base that add lightness to the structure. Illum Wikkelsø was one of the most renowned Danish designers, despite being one of the least known. It is known that he graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen, and that he worked for Jacob Kjaer and for the architectural firm of Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielso, where he left his mark on Danish furniture design, which came to spread around the world.
