Printed japanese cover, publisher's green ribbon boards and slipcase. "In 1927, Petiet embarked on the adventure of luxury publishing. His choice was Paul-Jean Toulet's Les Contrerimes. He entrusted the illustrations to Jean-Émile Laboureur, his favorite artist, whose fine, uncluttered burins were a perfect match for these refined poems with their sophisticated form. In order to finance this adventure, the publisher divested himself of his prestigious library: the sale of his precious works guaranteed him the necessary funds".
