Pompous decorative cloth with gold thread embroidery , probably India, c. 1900, red square silk cloth with elaborate floral gold thread and silk embroidery as a wide border, central medallion and four corner elements in the inner field, red silk backing and surrounding cord with four corner tassels, two old patches in the fabric and minimal loss of substance, dimensions 100 x 95 cm.
