Hambo samurai armour 19th century, Chest and back armour of overlapping lacquered metal strips, metal chin guard with attached lacquered metal strips, silk leg aprons with overlapping lacquer-paper strips, linen leg guards covered with silk fabric and mounted metal strips; linen arm guards covered with silk and mounted iron chains and plates, with original wooden packing case, in age-appropriate condition with minor flaws, lacing partially new.

Pompous decorative cloth with gold thread embroidery , probably India, c. 1900, red square silk cloth with elaborate floral gold thread and silk embroidery as a wide border, central medallion and four corner elements in the inner field, red silk backing and surrounding cord with four corner tassels, two old patches in the fabric and minimal loss of substance, dimensions 100 x 95 cm.
