Highlight: "Olympic Games, Paris, 1924. Attention, spout for two cigarettes, please. Englishman Jack Beresford (1899-1977) triumphed in the single sculls. Gold and silver medallist at every Games from 1920 to 1936, he was for a long time the world's best rower. A way of saluting him.
