Neil Armstrong Signed 'First Man on the Moon' Stamp Maxi Card Appealing color 5.5 x 3.5 Colorano maxi card of Paul Calle’s famous ‘First Man on the Moon Stamp’ stamp design, signed on the right side in blue ballpoint by Neil Armstrong. The card is postmarked July 20, 1969, the date of the Apollo 11 moon landing, and September 9, 1969, the issue date for the jumbo-sized commemorative "First Man on the Moon" stamp, which is affixed above. In fine condition, with poor signature contrast. Encapsulated in a Beckett authentication holder.

The consignor notes that the autographs were obtained at the Coed Eva Community College in Cwmbran, Wales, on January 31, 1966. In fine condition, with intersecting folds. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks and by a letter of provenance from the prior owner.

Handwritten letter to "Sylvia," in part: "Many thank you's for thinking of us but we will be out of town. We will get together sometime soon I hope—we have been down in Texas...In the meantime Merry Xmas." In fine condition, with some old clipping residue at the top edge.
