Claude DUPRÉ (Active in the second half of the 18th century) Portrait of a man in a blue jacket Miniature signed on the right and dated 1786. 4 x 3.2 cm. In its original brown leather case enhanced with gold. 10 x 8.3 cm (One hinge to be repaired, case missing). A painter of miniatures and pastels, Claude Dupré exhibited miniatures and drawings at the Toulouse Salon between 1758 and 1784. In 1772, he was listed as a member of the Académie de Saint-Luc in Paris.
