François Maurice ROGANEAU (1883-1973) Presumed portrait of Mari'Almerinda, the painter's first wife. Rome, 1910. Charcoal drawing, red chalk and a few highlights of white and stump. Signed, located and dated lower left. 24 x 19.2 cm (as seen). Stains, pitting. Frame in molded wood painted black (a few accidents and missing pieces). A portrait, in pencil with white highlights on paper, of Mari'Almerinda, the painter's first wife, is in the Musée des Beaux Arts de Bordeaux [Inv. Bx E 1325].
