A very scarce work on the market (RBH finds a single record at auction, in 1983) of this atlas and chronicle of Europe with 33 maps based on those published by Galle in the editions of Ortelius' epitome. 4to, (222 x 160mm). Portrait of the author in the text, 33 half-page maps in the text, engraved initials and headpieces (sporadic light browning). Contemporary full vellum binding, title lettered to spine and edges (spine partially detached). Provenance: 18th-century stamp of the Discalced Carmelites to title-page. (1)
