LEONI, Michele (1776-1858). I principali monumenti innalzati dal 1814 a tutto il 1823 da Sua Maesta Imperial Princess Maria Luigia. Parma: Bodoni, 1824. Scarce work (only 2 at auction in the last 30 years, RBH) illustrating the many projects realized by Duchess Maria Luigia in Parma during her reign, including the famous bridge over the river Taro and the Royal Theatre. Folio, (510 x 340 mm). Engraved frontispiece with bust of Maria Luigia, 15 engraved plates depicting monuments, in good condition. Contemporary binding with calf spine, original printed wrappers of the two gatherings preserved and inserted in the volume (light wear). (1)
