[HORSE-RIDING] RODZIANKO, Pavel Pavlovich (1880-1965). Ital'janskaja kavalerijskaja skola i novyj Method polevoj ezdy i obucenija ej. St. Petersburg: R. Golike and A. Vilborg, 1911. Copy ex dono Auctoris to General Filippo di Sambuy, horseman and president in the 1930s of the Società Torinese per la Caccia a Cavallo, of the first works in Russian illustrating the methodology in show jumping of the Pinerolo school of Captain Caprilli. 'In this work I intend to describe the new training and riding methods developed in the Italian cavalry school, which currently occupies a prominent place not only in Italy, but also beyond its borders.' 4to, (265 x 210mm).
