A fine Art Nouveau sculpture of the author of the Divine Comedy by Fortunato Gori, a pupil of Augusto Rivalta and the Parisian sculptor Victorien-Antoine Bastet, famous for his chryselephantine sculptures in bronze and marble; he exhibited from 1904 until 1923 at the salons of the Société des Artistes Français. The lot is accompanied by CITES documentation. Gilt bronze and ivory statue, (Height 200 x 50mm the base). signed at the base ' A. Gori Paris'. (1)
