Several contemporary marginal annotations, 6 leaves bound at the beginning containing depictions of four siege machines and a list of Latin places mentioned in Caesar's work with their sixteenth-century Italian/Latin counterparts (a few sporadic stains, small wormtrack at lower right corner of last two leaves). Contemporary Venetian binding with blindstamped boards decorated with geometric motifs in the 'Lotto' style, contemporary brass clasps (lacking ties), spine tooled in blind, contemporary pastedowns reusing a fifteenth-century manuscript on vellum. (light wear, small, discreet restoration to joints). (1)
