ROME 1960 Official torch of the XVII Summer Olympic Games. Design by Professor Amedo Maiuri with his collaborators from the National Archaeological Museum of Naples. The design is based on torch drawings found on ancient Etruscan ceramics. It bears the inscription "Giochi Della XVII Olympiade". Aluminum, bronze patina. Height 39.5 cm. Good condition.
