Three coins (two official participant medals and a superb 48 scarf):a) London: obverse, the quadriga, reverse, view of London, and inscription "XIV Olympiad, London, 1948, the five rings. In gilded bronze. By Mackennal, minted by John Pinches. Diam: 51mm. 61G; b) Melbourne, obverse: Olympic Games Melbourne 1956", with the Kangaroo in the rings, arms and motto of Melbourne; reverse; parade of athletes behind the Olympic flag, around the motto. By Andor Meszaros. Bronze. Diam: 63mm. Traces of oxidation on reverse; c) Superb cotton scarf "XIVth Olympiad 1948, London" with the Union Jack, and Big Ben, this beautiful and large central image is encircled by some 48 flags of the participating nations. 67Cmx67. A few small moth holes, not affecting the air bowl.

Olympic Games/ Summer, 1956-60-64/ Melbourne-Rome-Tokyo/ Rooster. Set of 6 official coins around the French team and its enamelled rooster a) the two extremely rare roosters from the Melbourne and Rome Games, in both cases, the crowing rooster, proud leg resting on a ring base with the year of the Games and the venue, here Melbourne 1956, and Rome 1960 (brooch on back) (28mm); b) Tokyo, the rooster as a pin and keyring, both by L.R. Paris, the pin on the bottom cartouche reads "Tokyo 1964" (blue enamel), the keyring (rectangular silver) features a rooster perched on the rings on the obverse, and "Olympic Games, Tokyo 1964" on the reverse (65x27). Two cockerel pins are attached to the rings, one with a brooch (soldered on the back), the other in a pin version.
