Medal awarded to Edmond Decottignies, Olympic weightlifting champion in the light weight category, who broke the world record for the clean and jerk to the right with 92.5 kg (this record was broken a few minutes later), but went on to win the gold medal for total movements. Presented by Edmond Desbonnet, his godfather and founder of Culture Physique in 1885. Bronze medal. Diameter 50 mm. In box.
