Artist info: German painter and lithographer (1913 Dresden-Blasewitz to 2000 Berlin), initially trained as a lithographer in Dresden, parallel evening studies at the Dresden Academy, later studied at the Academy of Arts and Crafts under Arno Drescher, 1949 first stay on Hiddensee and exhibition in the "Blaue Scheune" in Vitte, 1950-55 active on Hiddensee-Norderende, 1955 acquisition of the "Blaue Scheune" and expansion into a gallery with summer flat and studio, the rest of the year active in Berlin-Friedrichshagen, source: Wikipedia.
