Carlo Ramous is an Italian sculptor who trained with Marino Marini at the Accademia di Brera. He has created monumental sculptures in many countries, including Japan, the United States, France and Italy, and has exhibited in numerous institutions and galleries worldwide. The artist took part in several major exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale in 1958, 1962 and 1972, the Rome Biennale in 1955, 1959 and 1973, and the Biennale di San Paolo in Brazil in 1961. One of his most accomplished creations, considered to be his major work, is the bronze façade of the Cino del Duca printing works in Blois.
