Gaush, Alexandre Fedorovich — Sommerliche Krimlandschaft — (St. Petersburg 1873-1947 Simferopol) In hügelige Landschaft eingebettete Häuser zwischen Büschen und Laubbäumen. Öl/Lwd. Rechts unten sign. 54 x 69 cm. - Leinwand etwas wellig. - Gaush studierte von 1893 bis 1899 an der Petersburger Kunstakademie und ist bekannt für seine impressionistischen Landschaften. Obwohl er bei der ersten Ausstellung der „Union of Youth", einer Vereinigung russischer Künstler der Avantgarde, zu deren Gründungsmitgliedern er zählt, nur ein Bild ausstellte, zeigte er nur drei Monate später bei einer Gruppenausstellung in Riga bereits zehn seiner Werke.
