Tibetan Buddhist copper prayer holder with inlaid stones along the lid, circa 18th to 19th century. The exterior surface is delineated into eight fields with a single character in each region. Decorated with bands of floral and insect designs in relief throughout, especially along the lid, footrim, and along the borders of each field. Height: 7 3/4 in x diameter: 3 1/2 in.
