The purchaser MUST present his identity card, his valid licence from the French Shooting Federation and his prefectoral authorisation. Category B weapons will only be issued after consultation of the FINIADA file. If the buyer of a category B firearm is registered in the FINIADA file, the sale will automatically be null and void. Foreigners who do not have these documents must be represented by a French gunsmith for the purchase. For professional buyers, a valid copy of the authorization to trade in category "B" firearms will be required. MODERN HUNTING AND SHOOTING WEAPONS ARE SOLD IN THE STATE IN WHICH THEY WERE MANUFACTURED.
