Seymchan pallasite meteorite. Slice containing olivine crystals in a metal, iron and nickel matrix with Widmanstätten structures. Weight : 73 g. Length : 97 mm circa. H : 60 mm. Place of discovery: russia. Comment: the Widmanstätten structures found in meteorites correspond to very slow cooling in space, of the order of a few degrees per million years, allowing the metal to crystallize. A very similar-shaped slice from the same block of pallasite is currently on display at the Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris.
