Tramu retraces the history of the War Dog, citing Buffon and outlining the animal's role in the art of warfare, notably during the Third Reich, the Russian Army, Swiss sanitary dogs, etc. Enclosed is a pedigree book of a dog named Jago de Col Rem, in Monaco, in 1937, and a letter from Melle de Tavel to Tramu, sent from Nîmes in 1932, on the letterhead of Chenil du Journat, for the adoption of a puppy.
