A GEORGE III SILVER SNUFF BOX maker's mark indistinct, London 1786, oval, the hinged cover centred by an engraved crest within a bright-cut engraved border, the sides with similar bright-cut engraved borders. 9cm long, 2.4 troy ounces Maker's mark N(G?). The other marks are clear. The hinge is in good order, and the lid closes well. There is a tiny dint to the edge of the base. In generally good condition. The gilded interior is good.
