A GEORGE IV SILVER SNUFF BOX by Thomas Shaw, Birmingham 1826, of rectangular reeded form, the hinged cover centred by a rectangular tablet engraved with a crest and initials, the underside inscribed Geo Goddard / 8th June 1827. 8cm long, 3 troy ounces The marks are clear. The hinge is in good order, and the cover closes well. There is a small dent in one corner, but otherwise, it is in good condition.
