AN EARLY VICTORIAN SILVER SNUFF BOX by Edward Edwards II, London 1839, rectangular, the hinged cover centred by a crest and with an applied foliate thumbpiece, engine-turned to all sides. 7.9cm long, 3.7 troy ounces The marks are clear and well-struck. The hinge is in good order, and the lid closes well. The gilt interior is good. Overall, it is in good condition.
