A VICTORIAN SILVER SNUFF BOX by Edward Smith, Birmingham 1859, of slim rectangular form, engraved with scrolls and flowers framing engine-turned reserves. 9cm long, 2.7 troy ounces The marks are clear. The hinge is in good order, and the cover closes well. There is no personal engraving. The gilded interior is good. In generally good condition.
