YORK: A GEORGE III SILVER TEAPOT by James Barber & William Whitwell, York 1815, of plain oblong form, with a wooden handle and knop, raised on ball feet. 26cm long, 21.1 troy ounces gross No town mark. A nice clear set of well-spaced marks on the underside. The cover is marked. The handle and knop possibly replaced. The handle is firm in the sockets. No personalised engraving. There is a tiny split in the side of the mouth of the spout. In generally good condition.
