Russian Orthodox icon of Christ Pantocrator overlaid with a chased and repousse silver-gilt riza, the halo decorated in polychrome cloisonne enamel. Hallmarks: maker's mark 'SG' in Cyrillic, 84 Russian silver standard, and a kokoshnik mark. Dimensions: 8 1/4 x 6 3/4 in., (21 x 17 cm.) The icon appears to be in excellent condition. The enameled halo is impeccable. No damage to the gilded oklad, small dents to the image.
