Jean-Georges SCHLICHTIG (Parisian cabinetmaker received master on October 2, 1765) Straight secretary in flamed mahogany veneer inlaid with butterfly wings. Opens with a flap, a cornice drawer and two lower leaves. The flap reveals a reserve with 4 compartments and 6 small drawers on two columns. Brown leather top, embossed with small irons. Chamfered uprights. Grey marble top. On straight legs. Gilt bronze ornamentation with frieze of pearls, ribbons and flowers. Stamped "J.G SCHLICHTIG" on the back of an upright.
