She studied painting at the Belgrade Academy of Fine Arts, where she met her husband Milorad Bata Mihailović. She participated in the Groupe des Onze and Groupe de Zadar, of which her husband was a founder. In 1952, she moved with him to Paris. Her works are signed Lybinka.
