Description
Front part of an important cult vase featuring a seated female figure, her body decorated with ceremonial paintings, her face with an intense expression accentuated by half-closed coffee bean eyes. Salmon-beige terracotta with brown decoration, the back of the vase is missing, a few chips on the neck, small micro cracks. Guanacaste, Costa Rica, bi-chrome period 300 B.C. to 300 A.D.
