The text strip on the left and bottom is missing. Good condition. The title of the poster, 'Les blessés de la tuberculose' (TB casualties), reminds us that tuberculosis patients were also victims of the conflict.Mortality from tuberculosis increased in the armies during the war and by the end of 1915, it was clear that the presence of tuberculosis patients represented a great risk of weakening the workforce.From that moment on, the health authorities mobilized to set up a full-fledged anti-tuberculosis armamentarium. Health stations for tuberculosis patients were set up to receive and isolate patients. They were staffed by specialist nurses, who were often less valued than those who cared for the wounded.Published by the Central Committee for Assistance to Military Sufferers of Tuberculosis and addressed to the wounded and tuberculosis patients placed under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic Poincaré.
