[Toulouse-Lautrec] Early photographic reproduction (heliogravure?) of a photograph depicting three men, two of whom are transvestites of women and one in military uniform. 12*17cm. We seem to recognize Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec in drag (right). The latter was known to cross-dress in this way. We have found no trace of this photograph elsewhere. This document comes from gallery owner Marcel Guiot, active from 1925. A note on the back reads: "à retourner à Marcel Guiot, 4 rue Volney" (return to Marcel Guiot, 4 rue Volney). Fragile document, yellowed paper, small tears and chips in margins, reinforced spine. Rare document.
