Description
Philippe de MONTESQUIOU-FEZENSAC (1753-1833, general) / Autograph signed order, 1 p in-8 oblong, from Cavaillon, dated March 25, 1792, ordering the seizure of the Cadenet (Durance) ferry and preventing anyone from using it to cross from one bank to the other - this document was presented to the de Fezensac family in 1868, as attested by the autograph letter signed by the second lieutenant of the Empress's Dragons E. d'Angelo (he probably gave it to his general, General-Comte de Goyon, who had married Philippe de Montesquiou-Fezensac's daughter).
