Nice impression, some traces of humidity, sheets with paper guard on verso, trimmed. A Mitate (imaginary scene) showing in a triptych, from left to right, three Kabuki theater actors: Onoe Kikugoro III; Ichikawa Ebizo V; Iwai Tojaku. The actors are surrounded by strong beams of light from a roll of paper under the feet of the central character.

Of the doubles of Victor Emmanuel I dated 1814 and 1815, a total of 23,697 examples were struck, but surely most of these were recast shortly thereafter due to the transition to decimal coinage. The two thousandths also, from a collector's point of view, constitute different types since the 1815 one has the title of DVX IANVAE which is missing in the 1814 double. - FDC
