In this drawing, executed with great verve, there is no obvious intention to provoke laughter from the viewer, as is often the case in Monnier's drawings. An attribution to the artist Fortuné Delarue is also possible. - Verso with slight soiling and handwritten annotations in graphite. Annotations in graphite. In very good condition with fine coloring.
