[Villa Valmer, Marseille] Two exceptional albums, each containing 23 photographs, or 46 photographs, albumen prints, probably circa 1880-1890. The 46 photographs, however, represent fewer than 30 different photographs, the two albums being particularly close. Most of the photographs measure around 16-17 * 20-22cm. Some of the portraits are smaller, measuring around 19*11cm (and pasted in pairs on the same sheet). There are numerous views of the villa, and of people probably in the garden. On the spine of each volume: A.C. surmounted by a count's crown. Oblong album, half-chagrin with corners, usual minor defects, photographs generally well preserved.
