Her work is marked by a diversity of media, including painting, plastic installations and video art. Mas belongs to the non-conformist Ukrainian pictorial tradition, while developing a highly personal style. His distinctive realism manifests itself through a patented individual technique, which involves layering and mixing layers of paint, pencil, varnish and lacquer on canvas. This method lends his works dreamlike, almost abstract tones. With over 300 exhibitions to her credit worldwide, Oksana Mas takes part in prestigious art events such as London Frieze, the Armory Show in New York, FIAC in Paris, Art Basel in Miami, Arco Madrid, Sotheby's auctions... In 2011, Oksana Mas was chosen to represent Ukraine at the 54th Venice Biennale. For this event, she created a monumental installation in the form of a mosaic made up of over three million wooden eggs.
