Conical handle decorated with acanthus foliage and calyx decoration. The obverse side with an applied oval medallion with the family signet and the motto "Deus Providebit" of the Hamburg Michahelles family. Steel blades. Fruit knife partially damaged, one blade missing. Marked, export mark since 1879, maker's mark. Total weight approx. 14200 g (weight without filled parts approx. 11000 g). Provenance: from the Michahelles Collection, Hamburg, which has grown over generations. A 271 pieces French Louis XVI style silver cutlery with small medallions with family signet and motto of the Michahelles family from Hamburg. Steel blades. Cases. Fruit knives partially damaged. Export mark since 1879, maker's mark. France. Paris. Eugène Lefebvre. Around 1900.
