PENJAB carpet (India), 3rd third of the 20th century Dimensions: 167 x 111cm. Technical features: Silk velvet on cotton backing. An undulating old-gold trellis supports staggered multicolored floral compositions adorned with vegetal botehs. This design covers the entire field. It is framed by a border of the same type, with an undulating garland adorned with a "forest" of botehs. Foliage highlights. Interesting graphics (worn, as is).
