Brevet de Garde national issued to Jean-Marie Robert Charpentier, a 25-year-old native of Villeujordin (?), registered on May 16, 1790 in the Compagnie de grenadier du Bataillon. Nicolas engraved the upper part with the arms of the city of Paris and four flags, with Justice on the right and the Republic breaking its chains on the left. The lower part depicts the storming of the Bastille in a cartouche surrounded by cannons and flags, illustrating the motto Qui servient bien sa patrie n'a pas besoin d'ayeux. Signed document.
